Antibacterial Efficacy Tests – According to BS EN 1276/2019
- Staphylococcus aureus
A representative Gram-positive bacterium, commonly found on the skin, throat, or wounds. It is a major cause of abscesses and skin infections. - Escherichia coli
A key intestinal Gram-negative bacterium. Its contamination may lead to digestive issues such as diarrhea. - Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Also known as green-pigmented pseudomonas, a Gram-negative bacterium with strong resistance to antibiotics. It thrives in moist environments and poses a challenge to antimicrobial formulas. - Enterococcus hirae

Antifungal Efficacy Tests – According to BS EN 1650
- Aspergillus brasiliensis
Also called black mold, commonly airborne and highly resistant. It is an important indicator in fungal testing. - Candida albicans
A common pathogenic yeast found on the skin, in the mouth, and in the female genital tract.
